Miley Ray Cyrus born Destiny Hope Cyrus, November 23 in 1992 is an American performer, songwriter, and actress. With a total thirteen entries, Cyrus is the female artist who has had the highest number of US Billboard 200 Top-five Albums in the 21st Century. Cyrus, the daughter of Billy Ray Cyrus country music singer, was a household name as a teenager while playing the title character on Disney Channel's Hannah Montana (2006-2011). She is often regarded as one of the few examples of successful child actors-turned-singers. As an actress, Cyrus has made appearances in the animated film Bolt (2008) as well as the feature films Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009) and The Last Song (2010). In the world of television, Cyrus was coach for the singing competition series The Voice across two seasons, and starred in the episode "Rachel, Jack and Ashley Too" of the Netflix series Black Mirror (2019). Cyrus is a passionate advocate for the rights of animals. She adopted a vegan diet in 2014.
